A Numerical Simulation Framework for the Design, Management and Optimization of CO2 Sequestration in Subsurface Formations

چکیده

This framework is constructed based on in depth understanding of the physics in the parameter space of interest for geologic sequestration of CO2, accurate and computationally efficient numerical algorithms for modeling of highly detailed descriptions of large-scale porous formations, and a flexible extensible computational framework for the optimization of real CO2 projects during both the injection and long term storage periods.
